I think the new Sedan looks great. This newest version of the Sedan will definitely increase Infiniti's maket share, in an ever increasing competitive field. Now, I am quite curious as to what is actually going to happen under the hood.
Man can't we have one car in the lux arena that doesn't have an Avalon butt??
I wouldn't say it's worse - but I'm not sure if it's better. It sure looks lower and wider which mean good IMO. The design philosphy is adhered to from the first gen and that is positive but it is a more mainstream direction. The kink is ridiculous. I guess I have to get used to it. I only like the 5 Series butt out of the current crop.

It's a shame Infiniti only went half-way with changing the gauge cluster. They still had to keep that orange display. They should have better matched the blue/white LEDs of the speedo / tach.
Maybe they had a lot of those orange displays to get rid of from the inventory? Another cost-saving move on an Infiniti interior. Too bad. But I'm sure the engine / chassis will be the best or next to best in its class. (I'm sure there are a lot of Bimmer fans who frequent here)

I am not feeling the exterior at all...the interior has some nice touches. Seems like they will be keeping the 3.5L engine but will rev it higher with 7500rpm redline to get some more ponies, so not sure how much of the hp increase will be "useable" in normal driving. Defintitely dont think there will be much improvement in torque. All in all...its ehhh...but then again I am interested in the coupe not the sedan, but if this is any indication I am afraid the coupe is gonna be uglier looking than the current one.
It doesn't look like anything spectacular to me. It's kind of plain, but it's not terrible either. Bottom line is, it doesn't stand out the way the G did when it was first introduced. I guess, over time we get used to the lines of these cars and they all start looking the same.
