I'm not sure if it matters, but they are talking about the Sedan. I'm pretty sure the coupes bumper sucks too.

Yeah, this is on another thread too. Look at the testing agency... It's terrible for very low impact situations in which we'd usually just need to buff or paint, but like I said there, in high-speed collisions, I would MUCH rather have a bumper that acts as a buffer to reduce the amount of force transferred to the body of the car. The more the bumper collapses, the less the body will... and the safer we are. Yes, it sucks for insurance companies because they'll need to replace our bumpers if we ever get rear-ended moderately, but I'd rather have that than a bumper that stays solid in a moderate-high speed collision; that's where you get spinal injuries and whiplash. Poor, poor insurance companies having to actually pay out [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img] JMO...

I agree 100% with CNN.. our bumpers just plain suck. They are very delicate and prone to getting damage, even from the slightest thing!
