You're really an Texaco/Chevron executive, aren't you?

Sounds like a plan. I use Chevron almost exclusively, so I'll consider my job done. Now it's up to the rest of you to do your part.

The plan is flawed. The oil market just doesn't work that way. If it did, the low volume producers would sell at lower prices earning lower margins to try to gain market share. Likewise, what's stopping Exxon/Mobil from taking advantage of their leverage and dramatically dropping prices to completely eliminate the competition? (or, as I call it, the "WalMart" strategy) No . . . in my opinion, they are either all in it together, or it really is supply/demand that's forcing up the prices (or maybe a little of both?).

You need to do more than post online to get this to work....
you would need media coverage and a mass following

That does nothing for the price of gasoline. Okay so gasoline is made from oil right, and the price of oil is the problem right now right? So we stop using Exxon and Mobil and those customers go to other gas stations. Their demand is going to increase and their sales will increase. So how does this effect the root of the problem again...the price of oil.
