Belt Noise
Belt Noise
I was just wondering, I have 32,000 miles on my 5AT 04 coupe and 1,000 miles left until my next oil change, and ive been hearing a high pitch noise that seems to be coming from the belt when in idle. Its a very short high pithced noise that seems to come with a rotation of the belt. Any possible ideas on what this could be? Also my breaks seem to be very worn away. I know there was a recall and i already got my breaks changed for free from my dealer for this about a year and 3 months ago. Every now and then very rarely however i hear squeaking from my breaks, should i ask my dealer for new breaks? Last time i gave that problem they just put squeaking fluid on. Also i have very fine paint chips on my front bumper on thebottom. Ive seen a lot of other coupes and none have this, could this be a flaw in the paint? I drive on smooth paved roads, never on dirt or sand roads, and very little highway.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I got same car but with 24k miles... i get the squeek very randomly from the belt... brakes squeek at like .5 mph... rock chips are known to happen touch up paint can fix that
yea my bumper's the same way. it looks like i have a bunch of bugs or dirt on my front bumper, but its in fact all paint chips... my brakes squeak a little sometimes too while going slow
