When I bought my car, there was no talking the price of the car down. The 6mt's were few and far between and selling as soon as they hit the lot. So basically they told me that if I didn't buy it they would sell it the next day, so they didn't care to bargain. The first one I looked at sold the day after I first saw it. Then they sold the next one out from under me. I ended up having to get one sent in from another dealership. They were going fast......

Just out of curiousity, why is 05 a bad year for the premium package?

Also, infiniti.com lists the MSRP for 34,450 for a new 06... What kind of price is it possible to haggle down to?
No brembos on the 05 or 06

My dealership went over six months without having a 6MT in stock at the time I was looking (Fall 2004). They pre-sold all of the cars they could get. I ordered by 2005 6MT and waited 3 months. Needless to say, they were selling at sticker.

Since then, I have not seen a 6MT in the lot when I've been there. Figure you are going to pay sticker for a new one, and perhaps you can get lucky on a 2005.

For what its worth, I was very impressed by the upgraded interior between the 2004 and 2005. I ordered the 2005 sight unseen, and am now extremely happy with the changes they made.

Also, I can confirm the 2004 had the brembos, the 2005 does not. The brembos are visually appealing, but do not appear to be a better brake than the one in the 2005. My service guy reports they have considerably less wear and other issues with the 2005 brakes than the brembos.
