Exclamation PerformanceNissanparts.com and MyNismo.com Compromised

man a while back I bought Z tube from PerformanceNissanparts.com...Got a letter in the mail yesterday saying a hacker broke into their site and stole all credit card information, etc.

If you've done business with them, check your cards and call the bank to get a new card number. This totally bites...they should send out some free superchargers for all the trouble!!!

take a look at their site -- it has some more info:

Thumbs down

I hope no one gets slammed with charges. Thank god they never answered any of my emails. I was going to buy some parts from them but their customer service is horrible . I figured if they would not answer my emails before the sale there is no way they would give a crap after it. Much better companies out there. Plus they don't get hacked into.

I HOPE EVERYONE THAT SPENT MONEY WITH THEM IS SAFE! And if someone uses your credit card I hope preformancenissan give you something in return.

sux, but getting charges reversed isnt that hard, in cali you just have to call the CC company to inform of shady charges and sign a form.

happened to me a few months ago. idiot waiter at a diner jacked my info when took my card to pay....
but, didnt cost me a dime.....

am i gonna HAVE to get a new account number? which means new checks, new direct deposit, not to mention the companies i have quickpay with, where they just take the money out of my account every month.

is it really necessary, or is there something else they can do to avoid all that hassle?

and i use BofA also.

companies make mistakes just like people do. They made a mistake and are fixing the problem. However i think the best thing they can do now is offer some kind of special promotion or discount for all the people that were affected.

+1, as I'm ready to make another couple of large orders. This is the only bad experience or negative thing that I can say about them. Otherwise, I've had great service and always turn to them as a main source when in the market to buy.
