? About service

Its about time for my service at the dealership..almost at 30000 miles....they wanna charge 400 bucks.!..i guess thats a normal price for infiniti...but If i bring the checklist to an independent auto shop..do you think its juts as good as the dealership..and prolly cheaper too right???

ya independent will be cheaper for sure... but then the dealership will use authentic nissan parts... this other guy on the fourms got a quote of $400 too for his 30k

just get the authentic nissan parts and give them to an independent mech that you trust. Whenever I read the list of things that they're going to do and what they're charging I know it's a rip...If it gives you piece of mind to do it at a dealer and pay more than twice as much in labor then do it, I personally feel it's not worth it. Remember, they can screw your car up just as bad as an independent. I always check my oil when I leave a mechanic...

Every dealer does something a little different for their 30k checkup. YOu should find what your dealer does. Also if you have an auto, you have to take your car into the dealer if you want the tranny flushed.
