Opinions on Avery clear bra?
My Athens Blue coupe is due for delivery in the next two months and I plan on getting a clear bra installed. When I stopped by the dealer last weekend, the guy that installs their clear bras was there doing an installation. I have seen his work on a few of their other vehicles and it is really good. I asked him what type of film he uses and he told me that he uses Avery film. He said it holds up the best over time, does not yellow, and makes for a good installation. Does anyone here have an Avery clear bra or know anything about them? Any insight is appreciated.

I've got the Avery product on my 06 6MT, (Laser Red) and love it. My installer has the same product on his Toyota truck. He has 3M but prefers the Avery Dennisson product because of the reasons you said, plus it (according to him) has another "top coat" that adds another layer of gloss.
He had a sample of the 3M on a roll and the Avery was different side by side. I figured if it was good enough for him (and he's standing behind it 4 years) then it's good enough for me.
Another thing about the Avery Dennisson product is when putting it on you have more time to adjust it, move it around, and get the air bubbles out. With the 3M you better get it DEAD ON right away or your screwed. With the Avery you can stick one side of say the front bumper on, then lightly across the front to the other side. Then go back to the middle and work outwards from there. With the 3M... by the time you went from one side to the other you'll not be able to pull it back up and adjust it like the Avery product.

You guys should check these guys out - www.premiermobilegroup.com. The cleanest bra I've ever seen...I did pay alittle more than others here, but they did a custom bra and I was hard pressed to find it. When my g to their shop, they had a F430 and a Carrera GT inside!!!! I nearly nutted in my pants when I saw them!
