it happened to me as well... when I did a 180 degree turn (with VDC OFF) then a slip and vdc off light came up... along with a warning on a navi screen, BUT when I shut down the engine and started again it was alright... this have happened three times... but still driving ...

well i had a slip and vdc off light because of agressive wheel spinning... therefore I am not worried, I am just dnot doing that stuff so offen...

but in your case you have an additional BRAKE light,, therefore I would suggest you to have your car see by a specialist....

brakes are no joke

i had the same thing happened to me the other day. Call infiniti towing service and let them service your car. Mine turned out to be the Cam Position Sensor that went bad.

btw, towing and services are all free if you're under warranty.

I'm getting the SLIP and VDC OFF light coming on as well, twice - and both times happened after wheel spins.

However, does anyone know at what varying degrees of wheel spin triggers it? Because for me, once was a slightly agressive wheel spin, but at the other time, the road was wet due to rain, and the rears spun a little off the line.

My dash brake light comes on as well intermittently, but I know my car is due for a service and the brake fluid needs topping up. But I was wondering if the levels of brake fluid would also be sensitive to the SLIP and VDC OFF warning lights coming on as well?

Anyone with an G35 coupe owners manual that could shed some light on these warnings?

Those lights come on because you need to change your brake pads.

^^^ What he said. Take a look at this thread: "VDC OFF" light, Red "BRAKE" light, and SLIP turned on

TPS Sensor or maf could also cause this. It's happening to mine right now and it shows to be the throttle control motor relay. I'm having a tough time finding a relay since its not an OEM factory partnumber. So i'll have to find a used fusebox somewhere at the junkyard
