i have an 06MT that is brand new with 500 something miles on it. when i start the car and put it in 1st gear and drive off i hear a grinding noise for about a second then it disappears. It happens everytime after i start the car and drive off in 1st. any idea?

 

might check your oil- and depends on how your driving the car - when i first got my G , i kinda abused it here and there and started to hear grinding , then my check engine light came on- took it to the dealer and they told me i ran OUT of oil - and they asked if was driving the car 'hard' - but check your oil gauge just incase

 

its prolly the abs self test. Do a search. happens to me at abotu 8-10 mph jsut about everytime i take off. If so its completely normal
