May consider the G35C but a few questions
How reliable are Infiniti's, specifically the G35C of course :P because I plan on keeping the car for more than five years, and i'm most likely going to buy a one or two year old used model.
The exterior of the G35 is something to die for, unfortunately I can't say the same for the hideous interior. I want to get white ext/black int, or black ext/black int. The dual tone interior (silver dash and console and black leather) doesn't appeal to me, has anyone bought an all black dash kit to black everything out inside?
I've heard the gas mileage sucks, is this true?
How does the factory navigation compare to say Acura's or Lexus' navigation systems? I could try them out, but then it may just make this decision even harder because i really like the G35C. The body doesn't seem like it will ever be out of style.

True on most of your evaluation the navi is not a touch screen. Gas mileage is horrible right now on my coupe. I use to do 420miles on a full tank now it's just averaging about 250 if I'm lucky. But the bling factor of this car is just awesome be sure to get ready for some staring eyes when at the wheel. Goodluck.
The forte of the G35 is its reliability. You may have some little annoying problems, but the engine is bullet proof. If you go to Rennlist and do a search on topics like "engine replacements", you'll see just how reliable the G35 is compared to 996s. Your gas mileage will depend upon how and where you drive the car. I get around 23 MPG in 90% country road driving. For a car with around 300 HP, that ain't bad. As far as the interior is concerned, I happen to like the interior in my '05. Each of us has his own sense of beauty, so it's impossible to design something that will appeal to everyone.

..........Hideous???????? -- never.
Welcome to G35Driver. Good luck with your forthcoming coupe...

if interior is a huge factor, you MIGHT want to look at the 06', it has quite a bit of interior refinement including more leather on the doors and aluminum trimmed speakers and other things.
I love my 05 G35 except for the fact that it's burning oil!
Also my clutch got stuck once during a launch. And oh yea... I get a lot of rattles. Gas mileage isn't too bad. Factory Bose sucks btw.
