I didn't check that thread again lately, so not sure how nuttyprof made out with K&N.
Only thing K&N keeps saying is to check their site regularly for updates.
If I hear anything from nutty I'll post on my thread.

i dont know if nay body else has seen this but i saw a pic of the K&N intake for the 350Z. its got like a carbon fiber airbox. I guess its going to be a cross bewteen a cold air intakeand a ram air intake. it look pritty good

Are you sure it was a K&N Typhoon System?

The reported cost of $200 - $250 doesn't seem right for a system with carbon fiber components.

There's been a couple pictures of K&N (HAI - hot air induction) prototypes posted on the various forums.

i have no other information. but i sounds like K&N does not like the HAI and would prefer to do this system my guess is a price around 300-400 dollors and HP gains around 11 or so for the 350z so like 16 or 17 for the G coupe but thats a guess. i really dont know anything beside what is on the page

hey, dont know how i came across this thread, but here i am.
i did call K&N, and i think i posted, but here goes: they said that it should be available in a few weeks. and thats all they said. as for specs on it, i could not get any. that was a few weeks ago. i tried again the other day, and could not get a hold of the guy i know inside. the customer support lady knows squat about unreleased products. dont know why they are lagging, but from the 1st call, i was told they are packaged and ready to be released. have yet to see anything. bah.

Hi Nuttyprof, Thanks for the update. K&N must be close like you said if they're saying shortly. I'll get hold of my parts guy and see what he can come up with.
I've checked on K&N's website every week and nothing yet.
That's the only other mod I want to make short of a TT. LOL
