Actually, the clear lenses are illegal - even with the amber bulbs. Federal regulations require corner lights to reflect amber even when not illuminated. The clear lenses obviously don't do that. I carry the OEM amber assemblies with me so that if I get pulled over I can claim ignorance and change them on site.
