yeah, what makes the ac stink for te first few minutes. anyone got a link to that thread?
^^^Yeah that...

What causes that smell? For me, it was not the AC, but fan venting in outside air. BTW my car only has 2800 miles on it and I have looked at the filter.

***edit***
After posting, I searced again and ran across this thread. https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...c+smell+filter This seems to be the answer.

Hmmm...I have heard of mice/rats/even cats getting stuck in the engine bay when they are looking for a place to keep warm in colder weather. Good luck to you--maybe get some limo nene in the meantime

For those of you who have heard of such a problem, (mice issues) what do you recommend I do for future to keep the bustards away from my G??????

not much you can do really. if you store the car, moth ***** will keep them away and Decon pellets will kill them ( but if they eat the poison they could die in the car too). just best to keep a frequent eye on that area from now on.

ECELR8,
Thank you, I will try using moth ***** and traps to keep them suckers away!

No, I didnt get any photos sorry, as soon as I saw the nest to verify that the smell was mice, I took it in to have them take the nest and dead mice out.

LOL
Thanks I guess...confused:
J/K, ya I live in a kinda wooded area so they are around.
Last night when I got home from work I set up some traps and put some mothballs around, so we will see if I can make them an endangered species. I’m sooooo mad that this happened... oh well!

Totally
I didn’t kill them they were already dead, probably from the extreme heat not so sure... They might have even been babies? I can’t figure out why they wouldn't run out of there when I started the car up,
ya know???

Cover the opening with a screen mesh of some sort, maybe a piece of a screen window. What do you think?
