I want to do some painting of my engine cover and battery cover (left and right one). Any one knows where can I find my Paint code on the vechicle? I have brilliant silver. Thanks.

Open the hood and look at the Metal plate I believe its right in front of the battery.

Or go to EverythingG35 and look at the splash guards and click on your color, It will give you the code there as well.

Or you can open your driver's side door and it should be right there on the door sill (is that what it's called???).

A paint code is a paint code no matter what brand of paint you use. Maybe the proportions of what color is added or mixed in changes, but the end result is the same. When I say I want a qt of KH3, the place knows exactly what I want....Nissan Obsidian Black!

^^^Exactly!! I just got my grille painted and I actually just picked it up and it looks perfect. I gave the guy the paint code AX3 and without me telling him, he came back with oh okay, Laser Red. That reassured me that these guys knew what was up.

Brilliant Silver is KY0. Btw, the paint code is on the 3rd line on the aluminum plate on the passenger side near your battery.

It's not there on the 04 6mt Coupes . . . I've checked cause I was looking for touch up paint. Just goto the Dealer and buy theirs.

Nope, the only place where you can find the paint code is under the hood. You can see the aluminum plate in this pic next to the battery

Not true Teddie, I got my paint code from the door sill. When I dropped my grille off on Saturday that's where we went to get the paint code. Just opened the driver's side door and there it was. Hmmmm, maybe I'm just special!

Nm, yes the G has the color and trim codes on the door sill as well. I got it confused with my bmw which only has it under the hood.
