Hey all, I have been a big fan of the G35 for quite some time but haven't yet taken the plunge to buy one. I have a couple quick questions.

1.) Are there specific model years to stay away from.

2.) Is there a "best" model year? (I.E. The year with no decontenting, or the year where they used stronger internals, etc.)

3.) Do any of you drive in the winter and is it bearable? I drive in the cities exclusively, so things are generally plowed well, but this car WILL see snow. I have done some reading and I hear with a good set of snows it can be pretty decent, but I like to hear feedback from people who live in the northern areas of the country and own one of these cars.


Just an fyi if you care, I currently own a 2004 VW Jetta GLS 1.8T with turbo-back and chip. I like the car but every time I see a G35 I drool.. I love them. So it's time for the dub to go..
