The Best You Ever Had?

What's the best mileage anyone is getting. I think I may need a new air filter or something, because the best mileage I'm gettin in a 5AT on the highway with cruise contol set between 65-75mph is 21mpg. I would think it should be closer to 24 or 25. What am I supposed to get highway?

Somehow someway, I achieved 28.5 on my way down to LA during Spring Break. This was right after I changed my oil with Mobil 1 5w-30 Synthetic and a K&N Oil filter. Dunno if it made a difference but I was pretty surprised.

Well, heading south is downhill, right?

Isn't the speed limit 70mph on the way back from there? Bags of loot and sleep depravation tend to slow a G down.

Believe it or not but with twin turbos I was getting 30+ mpg in 6th gear with my 417whp coupe! I had the APS kit and I thought maybe the information was off but I drove from Douglasville, GA (about 20 minutes from the Alabama state line) to Charlotte, NC on a third of a tank of gas, that pretty much confirmed it for me. Now if I really punched it I only got 10-12mpg.

I average 18-20mpg. But I did get 25.8 mpg on my navigation, during an easy highway drive to Atlantic City (I actually got 24.8 mpg when I calculated it at the gas station filling up again).

On a road trip where I averaged 75mph for 4 hours I got about 25-26mpg. Daily use where i drive in some traffic i get about 20mpg.

My average in my 6MT has gone up from 16 mpg to 18 since breaking it in, but the best I have ever had (in 4 months) has been 20.5, and that was all highway. I'm sure I could drive the car like an old man and do better, but what fun would that be?

Worst: ~19.6 MPG

Best: ~23.XX MPG

Something like that... I have a 6MT coupe with the Aero Package

These are overall miles per gallon after fillup btw...
