Re: Body Side Moldings

nope, they are optional, thank god.
I dont have pics, but i can tell you that the car looks better without them. Dont want to ruin those smooth lines on the car.

Re: Body Side Moldings

My thoughts EXACTELY! They cost Extra, Look like Crap, And Don't really protect against Door dings, Too LOW

Re: Body Side Moldings

I've seen them in person, I think they serve a practical purpose. They're not too low either. I'd rather have to fix a side molding then rework a door panal. ( if you coudnt tell by now.... I have em lol)

Re: Body Side Moldings

They look ugly and i've seen tons of cars with them that still have door dings...Plus they cost $140 extra and they are taped on. RIP OFF ...

Re: Body Side Moldings

I agree that they serve a purpose but I'm all about clean lines. I opted against them. Did you try going to infiniti's website?

this is not my ride, but here is a picture of em someone on here sent to me. Hope they don't mind me reposting it.

I thought about getting them, but have opted not to for the reasons above.

Re: Body Side Moldings

not my car, but since we are reposting old pics,
When I first saw the G35 from the side I thought the doors looked plain and flat. I like how the BSM divide the doors and I think they make the car look sleeker. After staring at a poster of one in my office without them for quite awhile I can appreciate the car either way. "Clean and Elegant" or "Sleak and Sassy"!

Re: Body Side Moldings

I got mine without but I don't think they look that bad. It's not that big of a difference.
