why are all maganizes/websites listing g35 so slow?

everyone is listing it as 6.2 0-60 autospies lists it at 7.1 lol

these numbers are way off.. the more accurate number is somewhere between a 5.4-5.6

Maybe it got slower over the years, with the extra weight, lower torque, and 19" wheels.

In 2003 all magazines were rating G35 6MT 0-60mph between 5.4 and 5.9.

Is there any actual reports or threads were stock 2003-2004 faces stock 2005-2006 at the 1/4 mile race?

Dang I know G's are not fast, but i dont thing its that slow 7.1 O-60 that's way off. Who ever did that test mus be drunk or has a very slow reaction
"LOL".
I just got me a 06 MR Evo over the weekend and the comparison of hp is not that far off from my 05G 6spd ( dont get me wrong evo got a huge weight advantage than the G, but what i mean is that the G is not a Celica Gts comparison to a evo)
7.1 o-60 i

I recall seeing numbers like those back in '05 as well. Maybe its a AT vs MT thing? Maybe they just can't drive? Who knows...

The G definitly isnt the fastest thing out there but it gets the job done.
