Trim Removal For Window Tint?
Trim Removal For Window Tint?
I'm considering getting the windows tinted in my coupe. Installers have removed various pieces of interior trim when tinting windows on other cars that I have had. Often, when the trim pieces were reinstalled they weren't reattached just right and/or squeaks and rattles were present afterwords. I was just wondering if getting a quality tint job requires the removal of any trim from your experiences or whether a competent installer can do the job with everything in place. If trim did have to be removed, did anyone recognize any new squeaks, rattles, or wind noise that wasn't present before.
