When I have my foot off the clutch and the car is just sitting, I can hear something that sounds like air. When I push the clutch in it goes away. Also I've noticed that when I'm driving sometimes the car feels like I'm going slow in a high gear but the rpm's won't be that low. Any ideas on what is wrong or has anybody else had the same problem?

anyone that describes clutch noises usually describes them as rattling, not air. And yes everyone, including me, with the rattling noise, gets it when the let up on the clutch, and it goes away when the clutch is depressed.

What have people done to get this fixed? Has anybody brought it back to Infiniti and had this problem taken care of?

This has been discussed numerous time on this forum. The noise you hear is characteristic and exist in all 6mts to one degree or another. When the clutch is in neutral the tranny is disconnected from the flywheel...when the clutch is let out the tranny is connected and the flywheel / clutch plate and spinning bearings are talking to you telling you "I'm turning goodies inside the tranny". It's really loud in closed space like a garage. Nothing to worry about I have checked five other 6mts......they all talk.
