Respect mah authoritay!! (exhaust video)

It was a quiet Sunday afternoon in the neighborhood and I felt like shattering the silence.

I created a small video to help illustrate what my car sounds like.

Exhaust details:
Magnaflow mufflers (12225) with 4" Magnaflow tips
2.25" piping from the cat back
No resonators
No equalizer tube
True dual exhaust

Video details:
I cough
I start car
Rev and release to 2k
Rev and release to 4k
Rev and release to 6k
Rev and release to 6k
Slow rev pausing at 2k then 4k, then release with some backfire.

Yes, it is loud.
Yes, it is loud inside.
Yes, it is loud outside.
Yes, I am afraid of a noise violation ticket.
No, it is not wife approved.
Yes, I will most likely go back and have some big freaking baffled resonators installed. Maybe two... Inline...

The high quality version nets some slightly better sound.

Enjoy

Yea, that's a bit too loud bro. I'm running virtually the same mufflers, same size pipe diameter but I have a magnaflow resonator (dual in/dual out - x crossover) in the stock resonator location and it will flow better than two independent dual pipe sections. You can hear my exhaust in the two YouTube videos in my signature. This is the resonator I'm using:

Holy crap that is a massive difference with just one x pipe resonator!

I am going to look at getting one in come Tuesday...

Yea, I've come to the conclusion that these mufflers don't do a whole lot and that the resonators make the most difference on these cars. You can hear stock exhaust systems where the resonators are removed and they wake up a lot... Your car vs. my car is a good example of that as well. I love how mine sounds but I'm afraid with HFCs, it might be a tad too loud.

i just switched to the magnaflow mufflers and used my stock tips. Sounds pretty much the same as you guys, im gonna order up a x pipe to see if it makes a difference in person. Youtube videos don't do justice.
