You knew this was coming--Buy a Camry if quietness is that big of deal that you thing the g is loud. Particularly when the 05 exhaust is the one thats known to be the louder exhaust.
Is your exhaust stock? If so, I can't relate to your loudness comment.
Perhaps you are describing tire noise or something else.

Any way--congrats on your G.

Congrats! He might mean the road noise is too loud which is true. I don't mind it except when it rains hard. Still, the G35 is a sport sedan so it should never be too quiet.

Congrads!

I have a 03.5 6MT sedan. I was able to make it thru last years winter in Chicago on the stock all-season Turenza EL42s. It did slip some but the VDC and traction control really amazed me. The car was always easy to contol and i was never really able to get it to spin out of control even when I tried.

Next winter I plan on getting some blizzacks and using this car as my my main ski trip vehicle.

Enjoy!

You must have an 03.5 sedan, since the original 2003 did not have a 6 speed available. It is not a quiet luxury car, so go ahead and put the coupe mid-pipe on and listen to that instead of road noise.

i tottaly agree,
the vdc is really amazing
i had 45k miles on the turanzas and the vdc wouldnt let me spin out of control at all, i just had 50lbs in the trunk and it was good to go
and same here getting some blizzaks on my stock rims and im looking for some nice 20s for summer

you don't even need that 50 lbs in the trunk. I'd just make sure that the tank is full of gas. Who knows what that extra weight is doing to your rear suspension.

Congrats on your new sports car. I like the louder engine noise - you rev a lot. BTW - you will die if you drive summer tires in winter. Get a good set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, or if you want to save some cash, the Avon 550's are supposed to be good too.

I use blizzarks in the winter. Amazing how they grip ice. I am sure you know this but worth mentioning they need to used on all four corners.

I did a 2 hour B-quiet install in the trunk and back seat. It's makes these old a$$ and very loud turanza's eerily silent.

I used M3's in the Chicagoland area last winter and all I can say is that they were great. I would highly recommend.

BTW - How many miles on your '03?
