benefit of sway bars on sedan w/Sport
Just wondering...what is the benefit of installing sway bars on a sedan that has the Sport suspension?

Keep in mind that all the G's and the Z all use the same sway bars, same diameter's as well. It is by installing aftermarket 350Z sway bars that you'll come to realize benefits.
Allot less understeer. Allot less body roll. Greater confindence when attempting manuver's that would draw off the bars greater stiffness. Turn in performance is better. Around town, your everyday right and left turns have a much higher fun factor. And if you want to kick the tail out a tad while finishing a corner you can do so and as your cornering load deminishe's, your tail out come right back straight, no snap out funny business, just a little whicked fun.
For what I paid, $395 installed myself, it was well worth the benefits I got.

I've noticed most sites say their bars are for the coupe....can they be installed on the Sedan without issue?

Re: benefit of sway bars on sedan w/Sport
The benefit depends.
A stiffer bar will make the car more stable at higher speeds. At lower cornering speeds a stiff bar will still be stable but may reduce corning speeds because it will not allow the weight transfer that a softer bar would.
In general, the higher the speed of your cornering the stiffer the bar you want. That is why trick race cars have adjustable bars so they can be changed track to track or even corner to corner.
Also, adjustable bars can allow you to tune your car in regards to understeer and oversteer. A stiffer bar on the front generally INCREASES understeer because it prevents weight transfer to the outside tire. A stiffer bar in the rear INCREASES oversteer for the same reason. Most sway bar kits that aren't adjustable come with stiffer front and rear bars. However the rear bar is biased a little stiffer than the front which dials in a little oversteer - reducing oversteer.
Also, the way the bars are mounted makes a different. Factories generally use rubber bushings for a soft noise free ride. Aftermarket bars usually use polyurethane or direct heim joint connections allowing the bars to react quicker and more predictably - but ride quality suffers somewhat.
IMO, adjustables are the best by far. Then you can tune them to your style/roads - but you have to be carefull - long story. A non adjustable set can cause your car to be slower in certain conditions - like low speed autocross.

once you get the mod fever, yes it will be but you can't get the mod fever until you add and intake and an exhaust and HEAR what this car is capable of.
