Interesting- My Airbag light was coming on every once in a while, I've also complained about the clicking in the steering wheel when I turn left sometimes. I think the conduit cable connected to the wheel is a poor design.
Not sure if they get some binding in there ?
Either way, every Nissan I have owned had the airbag light come on at some point during it's stay.

Hey it's better than the EPC and MIL lights in a German car. When those came on, you were F'd

Mine keeps coming on too. I have made an appointment but its not till 2 weeks. I keep reseting it because the flashing light bugs the crap out of me. Sometimes it comes on after 30 minutes of driving, sometimes it days??

I had an airbag on an F150 Lariat, '97, the light kept coming on, and at first it would blink, I called the dealer who was like 35 miles away, and he had me check the code it was flashing, that told him the problem, and I took it in and they replaced the airbag, never had a problem with it again. I'm sure the G has a code as well.

Don't complain when you get into an accident and those convenient little volume and cruise buttons are stuck in your forehead because you never took what could have been a minor open or short in the curcuit to the dealer to get fixed. Don't play with the airbags people- get it checked out.
+1, never, never second guess an airbag problem, even if you weren't in an accident, if the airbag accidently deployed, you'd be in trouble!
