350Z tube - Warranty??

Just to be on the safe side. Installing the 350Z intake/tube won't hurt or cancel the factory warranty on my G35 sedan will it? Like if i take it in for service or maintenance what not. I dont think they will even notice really unless they're doing work on the engine/intake area.

It will not affect the warranty unless the dealer can prove it was the direct cause of some failure that you are attempting to get covered under your warranty.

Re: 350Z tube - Warranty??

Now c'mon - I think it's a valid point and one that has been discussed a LOT on this site. The warranty can only be voided if the dealer can prove that a specific deviation can be linked directly to the modification. In terms of the 350Z intake tube, you're completely and totally safe. The 350Z has the same engine with, obviously, the 350Z tube. It's a perfectly safe modification. You only need to be concerned when you start adding things like turbos, superchargers, nitrous.
