Approval from a higher up..

Ok, so I've read how some people have gotten the thumbs up and the occasional nod from people in BMWs, Mercedes, and IS300s. Although I've gotten my share of smiles, something very interesting happend today.

I've been driving my sedan with the windows down, sunroof open and the AC off so I could save some gas. Today was no different driving down Okeechobee Road from work. I had the tunes up and driving as fast as I could through the traffic. Anyway, I'm there stuck in a lane for a few minutes and all of a sudden I hear this yell near me. I'm like looking around and and don't see anyone, but I keep hearing it. So I noticed the semi next to me and I look up. There was the trucker trying to get my attention, and giving me the thumbs up. It was kinda odd since I was expressing my thanks through the sunroof. Its a good thing he was there cuz the guy behind me woulda thought I was trying to communicate with an almighty somewhere.

It was definatly a first for me..anyway, thought I'd share.

you said you were trying to save gas by having windows open, ac off. i once read, if you're going over 40mph, better to use ac
