Yeah, what Chico said....
|
follow up will it look weird with out being dropped? and is it possible for 20x10 in the back?
|
Yes and yes.
I don't like the look of the sedan with aftermarket wheels and stock height. I have 8.5's front and 10's in the rear with H&R springs (1.0F, 1.2R). |
ok so if i got 20's i have to get it dropped for it to look good? but will 19's with the right tires allow me to keep stock height?? and if i got 19x10 or 20x10 in the back will i need to modify anything for them to fit? sorry theres just alot of rim/tire options and im having trouble deciding...im lookin for the best combo/least maintence...thanks

i have 20x8.5 with a +35mm offset and 245/35/20 tires and it looks great! it will sit flush to the fender...it still looks nice without being dropped...if you are not dropping your car, i would get 245/40/19 tires if you plan on going with 19x8.5 wheels...

listen to Chico - he KNOWS his tires. ;)
|
sedan is too high for any kind of rims even with stock 17s. So if u change rims plz drop it.
|
definitely lower the car w/ 20 x8.5
|
I think it should be lowered either way. If you don't lower it make sure and get tires with a decent size sidewall.
If you don't lower it, you might be able to get away with 10's in the rear and no rolling. If you lower it you will need to roll your fenders. Why don't you want to lower it? At least with 350Z springs, they don't take it down too much; just enough to make it look clean. |
Im out in NY tons of pot holes and crappy roads from the snow in the winter, I used to have a sentra ser spec V with z rated tire on 18's on my car and got a flat tire once a month...i just got off the phone with a shop from cali, ordered 19"x8.5 black mesh machined lip...with 245/40/19 tires, i need a stronger sidewall/stronger tire to deal with the roads out here dont got the luxury of the cali weather plus if i lower it ill bottom out even more then i do already thanks for everyone's advice pics will be up as soon as i get the rims!
|
Wow, if things are that bad maybe you should keep it stock height and get a 45+ series.
Either way, good luck and post some pics when they are on. |
im tryin to find a solid pair of 245/40/19 you think 45's would be better, i dont want to much rubber and drawf the rims...i want something that compliments opinions welcome
