Gauge A Pillar for Sedan - Is it possible???

If we get enough interest do you think that we could actually have one made for us sedan owners??? I was thinking of a guage pillar with 2 pods and one with 3 pods.

I wasn't sure whether to place this in the FI section or the sedan section. I decided to place it here since the sedan owners will actually look at it. I think that this would be a great thing even for the N/A guys. What do you think.

Lets start a list of interest:

I think this will fit either.

I just called the company and also visited autometer's website. They both state that it is for the coupe only.

OK, sorry. Wow, I always thought I could just pick one up if needed.

Try Intense motorsports in Tempe, they seem to know where to get everything.

I just got lucky and found someone with a new Zeitronix that they sold me for like $280 or something like that. It gives me A/F and boost. I would like to add the EGT and then add a Oil pressure Fuel pressure later.

I've tried them in the past. I'm pretty sure that there is not one for our car. I don't know why??? After all they make FI kits for it, so you would think that someone would be smart enough to have already had one made.

I just refuse to believe that no one is interested in this.

How soon do you need this? I am going to start fiberglassing 2 full a-pillars for my tweets, and could possibly build a second for multiple guages. Not sure what the time frame would be though...
Mine are going to be total replacements for the stock pillars.

Good question. I have a ton of projects on my plate right now, but I am trying to get these done within the next month. I just don't want you to hold out for them...wouldn't want to let anyone down. I could always just build one and if you are still interested, could sell it to you, and if not, then I could just sell it to someone else. I will keep you informed. Let me know if you have any questions/things you would like to see in the pod.

Well, I have the Willow interior and those pillars got that stupid fuzz on them. So, would you be planning on doing just the driver side? If so, then I could possibly locate a way to paint it with fuzz.

I could definately wait a month for it and I would have no problem paying for it. I would like it to be a 2 pod setup. Not sure on the size of the hole for the gauges, maybe the 53mm. What do you think?

Well, I also have the willow interior. For my pillars I was thinking about using suede. But I haven't started looking for a color match yet. But I figured that was the closest matchup. If you have any luck finding the "fuzzy" paint, let me know. As far as the gauge hole size, that shouldn't be too hard to find. Again, I haven't started this yet, but I definitely am doing it, and have no problem doing a second pillar for gauges. I am just not entirely sure of the timeframe. I also have to build some pods for my door speakers, and have a media center that I am building, custom crossovers for my tweets, maintenance items for my car, etc. Just isn't enough time in a day to do everything. I do have a week off in July though, so that should help me catch up with everything. I will keep you posted.

I have three 60mm gauges that I'd love to put in an A-pillar pod, or at least get two of them in there. I've thought about trying that ePod, but it looks like too much of the standard gauges would be blocked. I can't believe nobody makes a pillar pod for the sedan....
