Question TMV Edmunds Pricing

I used Edmunds.com Pricing System to help me get the best deal in my area and I get a TMV of $30K (base model G35 w/out any options). In the incentives link, I see that there is a Marketing Support "Cash to Dealer" of $2K that will end on 7/5.

Q1: If I see this incentive, should I haggle and expect that the Dealer's true invoice is $28K?

Q2: $28K is a GOOD DEAL - correct?

I'd rather get the 2006 instead of the 2007 model due to cost and timing.

Thanks.

Always work from the lowest reasonable price and be prepred to walk away. I got what I wanted after 2 trips and f you can get erqualified by your bank then you really hold the hammer.

I think 28 is a great deal but before you buy brand spaking new you should check out the marketplace here on g35driver for a well cared for 04/05. I have seen some great deals listed there.

Do dealerships stock G35s with absolutely no options?

I think I'd rather have a slightly used one with some bells and whistles. You'd probably have a better color choice, unless they can order one.

at my dealership we rarely stock and base model G35's. most of the 6mt's we order have the premium package and there are rare occasions that we only order just the sunroof. i love the bluetooth and the memory seats so i'll be comfortable. you're getting into a luxury car so don't take out little options that are nice to use.

Drive a loaner car you will change your mind about a base G35. You can haggle for some options for not much more over a base.
