how do you install the plugs? Ive never done it before. do you just take out of box and screw it in?

You will need to apply a light coating of anti-seize lube to the upper threads (away from the firing tip) of the plug (leaving the last 2 or so threads uncovered). Also, you will need to confirm that the plug gap is set correctly.

When you install the new plugs, make sure not to torque them to max spec since they will have anti-seize on them.. I prefer to torque to at or slightly above minimum torque spec. Hand tightening is okay too if you know what you're doing.

I have been using the NGK laser platinum plugs (1 step colder) and am very happy with them except for the price.

Yes the G has 6 plugs and check the gap. If you are FI you might want to think about bringing the gap down a little too.

Are you FI? Do the colder plugs help with spark knock?
