electrical problems

After a huge storm, i was going my g home on the way back from church, and ran into a couple of deep spots where the water was deep. i started feeling water dripping on the top of my foot, and was dumbfounded.

i also smelled something in the car that was definitely different. and along the way home, my speedometer stopped working. and now this morning my tachometer doesnt work either, and the only gauge that works is the gas tank.

Any suggestions as to whatst he problem?

*edit*

and when my car turns on, it shifts really hard. got a couple of people saying change my transmission fluid/oil. but ill definitely get infiniti to look at it.

Some water got up into the engine bay and has passed through the fire wall to the back of your dashboard. It has affected your electrical system.

May I suggest that you get to an Infiniti dealer ASAP!!!

No car is completely sealed from the elements. You found out first hand.

Good luck with the fix!!!

I second that motion. You need to get her dried out completely.
.....and ASAP is best.....a short circuit would be no fun at all.
