Few Problems

So I install my Stillen CAI yesterday and reset the ECU...Everything was fine and wow what a difference this was from the K&N Filter... Today i installed MD plenum basic 5/16 spacer and didn't really feel the diff...Now the problem is... I reset my ecu after the spacer and all of a sudden my side marker lights dont go on(headlights and foglights go on no problem)...Also my auto seat doesn't work.... Last thing is when i put the headlights on, the navi display used to turn DArk knowing that it was dark outside and now it just stays bright all the time... What is going on? I'm going to take it to the dealer but does anyone have a clue as to what could have went wrong? Thanks and sorry for my complaining

I would pull the negative on the battery overnight and let the BCM reset.

is 5 minutes enough for an ECU reset? I know i left mine for 2 hours and it did reset for sure or you can try using the gas pedal method and do a ECU reset

lol...i hope you dont take my suggestion in a negative way, because I made this stupid mistake before as well.

sometimes when i am cleaning the vehicle i sometimes hit the "Auto Seat" button which is on the drivers side of the drivers seat (where seat controls usually are on other vehicles)

on the navi pysical panel there is a Day/Night switch. It has two seperate memory functions for headlights on and headlights off. play around with the button till it works correctely. There is also a digital fuction in the navi to adjest the brightness

^^^i am pretty sure this isnt the problem....but I seem to make these mistakes all the time

I'm not sure about the side markers but for the "auto" seats look in your manual. The "auto" feature has to be reprogrammed "on". I came across the same problem when I installed my spacer. I don't remember the exact process but it has to do with holding the "set" button down for like 5 seconds. Check out your manual...the solution is in there.

When you reset your ECU by unplugging the battery cable you lose your programmed seat setting because you have "erased" it from memory. You simply have to reprogram it (much like you have to reprogram your preset radio stations).

Yes, I have two memory settings on my driver's seat. I think (but someone will have to confirm for sure) that the memory seats are a part of the premium package.

I just looked it up on Infiniti.com and the memory seating comes with the premium package.
