headers, cat delete, and catback dual exhaust will yield to 20 whp gain, add a plenum, intake, z-tube, pulleys and easy 15-20 whp gain, and with all those mods with a proper tune u should gain total of over 40 whp, I think getting 300whp to the G is possible with the right setup and the right car.

I don't think getting over 300 whp will be easy with not touching the engine internalls.

crawford has been trying this for a while. shoot, fully N/A'd Z's aren't hitting 300whp except for rickdogg on my350z...

sorry klubb but your math = ricer math. i don't think we'll see 300whp on a dynojet from an N/A g anytime soon from "standard" boltons...

Idiot assumptions. You also have no life OR grammar.

anyway i dropped out in second grade i had to go that extra grade since you never made it to school, cuz u probably live on a mountain top, where you look out your window and stare at a sheeps a$$...so anyway between both of our educations and skeleton kru and my own mouth we can take up the new redneck comedy tour even tho im not a redneck....but id give it a shot...what do ya think?

Look you ***** it is very simple to understand. The manufacturers list a HP gain for that particular part, but adding two parts may have over lapping performance increases, like they basically enhance the system (at least partially) in the same way, there for just because one product quotes a +10HP increase and another quotes +10 does not mean they will add +20 when put together, because of overlap in the areas being enhanced they may combine to produce only +12 or +15 hp.

that's why just adding up all the mfr. HP gains is called RICER MATH

I found a picture of this guys former car

What will my listed mods hp gain be without the ricer math?

not sure, i'd guess 20-25whp, and then with a unichip or utec tune, maybe another 5-10whp on top of that. it's hard to say for sure since the interaction of mods yields "overlapping" whp... so headers + TP + catback exhaust is more like 15-18whp instead of (10+8+10). i dunno, just speculation. that's why before/after dyno's are so valuable.

so according to your calculations plenum, pulleys, and intake will give u 0 whp??

he could have gotten headers 'through' jwt - but not made by them.
i've got to tell you that's a stretch but not by much.
let's recount:
cai
plenum
headers
cats
y
middy
rear
plus tune (unichip, technosquare, or that other one (i can't remember))
not including cams
that could get you around 270 at the wheels. do some math... and that's about (assuming a 25% drivetrain loss). i don't think that's too much. 05's usually dyno around 225 at wheels (is that too much? - even better). that's 25% drivetrain loss - average.

so if we take all of those mods for a a 50 hp gain, that would give us about 270 at the wheels or 350 crank hp. but i can tell you that it will not give him a 13.3. i had all of those mods (minus tuning) and barely got a 13.9 (actually 13.96 and 13.97). maybe i'm just a bad driver (possible).

Ok i have raced an auto 04 at the dragstrip with my 6MT (back then bone stock). He had plenum, pulleys, dual exhaust, highflow cats, intake, headers.

I was consistantly getting 0.2 seconds quicker and was outrapping him by 3mph all the time. BTW he was getting better 60 foot times because i didn't know how to launch the car back then. The mods the I was listing was the for 6mt gains.

no i was just talking about those three mods (headers, TP, catback). i don't think pulleys/intake give any real whp, maybe 1-3
