Ed made me post pics!

Hey guys,

A few of you guys may remember me from the first G35 Meguiar's meet. But I havent been very active since... I only detail my car now, no time for anybody else's

My car is over 4 years old now, and I thought it was about time to start having some fun with it .

I still browse around every once in a while...

So far its dropped on H-techs with coupe 19's.

Looks good, but a dark place to take pics. Ever thought of getting those black skirts painted? Would look 100x better.

Looks great...good color choice! You musn't have many miles on your car, or must not drive on the highway much....the reason I say that, is your headlights appear to be free of pitting/that haziness (that my headlights have after time). Either that, or you bought new headlights (which I doubt).

you have to see this guy's car in person.. it's completely.. seriously.. near flawless! You would not believe it.. and his interior has no imperfections.. i swear you should detail the car of the person who sold you those wheels .. (looks awesome by the way)

yeah easy to keep a car near flawless when you don't do any exterior mods and you won't even take it into the sun for pictures

LOL JK but please paint the skirts or get the aero kit, you won't regret it.

Nice but you need a better base prep so that it really has a depth and luster to it. That color would really look wet with a proper polishing.

This is a mutli step polish... it brings out the depth and luster.

This is a paint restoration I did... notice the wet look and depth? 3 levels of polish.

And finally.... my ride

sorry for the crotch shot... lol

thanks for the replies haha!

I promise I'll post some outside pics when I get an aero kit... =D

In reply to the headlight haze, that is easily removed with a light polish or even a cleaner wax. I drive highway all the time!

I had a full car last night and I didn't get rubbing, but my rear fenders are rolled. Surprisingly the ride is a lot like stock. The rears are a little soft for my taste but overall its very good! It's time to get sway bars !!

Nice ride Nicks, unfortunately 1 thing I've learned from detailing is, you cannot compete with a properly polished black car lol... I just used DACP, and a layer of Blitz. I use a heavier compound once every 2 years.

yea, silver/grey innately would not have the luster of a darker auto.

Not to mention Soaped car is a 2003 model right? That's four years old so it looks amazing even in the dark photos...difficult to compare that to a black car + one that's only a few months old (but that porsche looks amazing!).

Since someone mentioned you detail cars, what type of polish or cleaner wax do you recommend? Just a plain car cleaner wax?

Thanks
