Good Sedan Tires for the 6-MT

Anyone have any suggestions on good Replacement tires for the Sedan 6-MT? I've seen allot of discussion for the Coupes, But the Choices for the 235/45/18 for the sedan seem very limited, at least on Tire-rack, etc.

You can use a 245/40/18 or 245/45/18. Most people are going with the 245/45 since the 245/40 isnt recommended for a 7.5" wide rim.

I went with 245/45/18. General Exclaim UHP. Mine is an "X" so I'm the same size all around. I know of at least one other member here who has a staggered setup and choes the same tires. I have 2K miles on mine. SO far, they're excellent.

I've got kumho ecsta asx all seasons, sized 245/40/18's. Cheryl has the same as on her car. Grip isn't great, better than the turanzas, but a hair below the goodyear NCT5 oem summer tires. Cheryl's have worn extremely well, but mine are about shot with right at 15k miles on them. That's mostly due to running so much negative camber in the rear for so long.

I plan on trying out the kumho SPT's next. Great reviews.

When I replace, I will most likely go for:

Spring/Summer - BFG g-Force T/A KDW-2 - 245/45/18

Question

i have 6MT sedan put coupe wheels on with oem tire sizes (225/40 front and 245/40 rear) i definately could use some better tires!! i was thinking of switching to sizes 245/35 on my rear (lower profile) and maybe getting some BFG's ZR g-forces???

If u are not tracking ur car, get Goodyear eagle F1 dsg3s. Best dry and wet tires.

I'd go with either Michelin Ps2's, Goodyear Eagle F1 GSd3's, BFG KDW2, or Toyo T1r.

Those tires offer great grip, but damn they are LOUD.

So if the 245/45/18 Fits the 6-MT, How do they Look? Are they just a little wider?

I am running the BFG KDW2's on some 20 inch wheels right now. They definitely offer superb grip....but yes, extremely loud.

However, after they heat up it's not that bad.
