I don't know if our cars have it, but sometimes when I drive I swear that the volume of the stereo increases when I increase speed, either that or my mind is playing tricks on me. I know that my friend's Chevy Blazer has that option, but I don't remember reading anything in the owner's manual about this. Does anyone know?

Re: **Auto Volume**
Actually it does have that speed controlled volume. You're not losing your mind. By the way, what's up! That last meet was pretty fun... we need to do those more often with an actual after dinner activity. See you at NNA.

P.S.
For those who care. I drive a Silver Sedan 6MT CA license plate "KRZ HAYN" = "Krazy Hawaiian". A "Shaka" is always welcome.

Re: **Auto Volume**
We have the option to increase volume along with the speed
of the G. Start pusing the audio button on your stereo console
and you will see the option.

Re: **Auto Volume**
It's the option after Bass/Treble/Balance/Fade called "SVT Auto" or something along those lines. I keep mine turned off because it skews the equalization at low volumes.

Re: **Auto Volume**
It's SCV (Speed-sensitive Control Volume). It's in the audio controls with bass and treble. You can set it to Low, Med, High, or Off. Yours sounds like it may be set to High.

Owner's manual, page 4-11.

Re: **Auto Volume**
I used to have mine on High until it started to annoy me on the interstate... If you drive with your windows down, "High" is handy, but if you're just cruising, Mid or Low is fine. Off is always a viable option as well

Re: **Auto Volume**
Does any know of an aftermarket headunit with this feature? I'm thinking of a Double DIN center console and new head unit but I would like the keep the Speed-sensitive Volume Control.

Re: **Auto Volume**
It actually works very well for me. I didn't realize it until I rolled down my windows the other day and the volume stayed constant to my ears. Very cool!

Re: **Auto Volume**
wasn't sure, but does it also lower the volume when you slow down?

Re: **Auto Volume**
Glad to hear that our Gs have this feature even though I barely notice it. The SVT feature in my Mercedes is way too abrupt in a way. You can hear the sound increase and decrease as you decelerate or accelerate, the skip of volume is enough to make it noticeable.
