Broken Tabs

i was wondering if i had a set of headlights with broken tabs would i be able to repair it? and if i can how much do you think it'd cost? thanks

haha well i don't know if they are stolen i wanted to buy some off of hidforum.com or from ebay.

how do i know that they are stolen? just cause they have broken tabs doesn't always mean that they were stolen. It could mean that he broke them when he took them out.

A friend at my work got one on ebay with a broken tab.

I got some back-strap material and epoxy. You cut and bend the back-strap to fit in where you need it then clean the headlight surface and epoxy it in place. He has not had a problem since and that was about 5 months ago.

i got in a minor fender bender and all 3 tabs were broken they fixed the tabs with some fiber **** i dono what it is but a body shop coould do it easily

EPOXY will fix it also that fiber stuff the use at the bodyshops is great!

i remember 2 ppl called me a thief b4 cuz i was selling headlights with broken tabs ...pissed me off so bad
why tabs were broke?
my friend works in the bodyshop at Nissan dealer in Brooklyn & cars come in all day with minor damage & tabs get broken insurance companies pay to replace the entire headlight, & he was giving me the broken lights to sell for him on ebay

exactly what i thought. how much does it cost for them to replace the tabs at a shop?
