I understand that I'm supposed to post this in the marketplace section. but i've yet to have permission to post there. i'm kinda in a situation where i need the muffler asap cuz my ripped open. So is there anyone who's willing to sell me their G35 Sedan OEM muffler?

im located in new york.

i was driving my car around the queens area. and i hit a really big pot hole around kessina blvd going around 35mph, after comming out of the pot hole, i noticed a raddling noise and a louder muffling noise. i mean, i have hit many potholes before in my life so i didnt pay much mind to it. by the time i got to my friends house, the muffler was more or less hanging and the bottom + the rear bumper was scratched like crazy. the car is in the shop right now getting the bumper fixed. my mechanic was willing to fix up the bumper for a reasonable price, but the muffler he said i need to purchase a new one. the thing is, the book value is $195. so i really think its unworthit to pay retail oem price for the muffler. if anything ill see what i can do, maybe ill post some pictures after i get it out of the shop. thanx for everyones help.

Sorry to hear about the mishap...but seems like a perfect opportunitiy for getting an aftermarket muffler...like the HKS rear section? Chad sells them for $370 shipped...but not sure about availability.

I've got mine laying around in the garage, but I'm in sacramento, california (norcal)... Has about 2k miles when I swapped it out for the HKS sport muffler..

 

My OEM is up in my attic.........want it? You're gonna have ta take a day trip to the Jersey Shore, near Seaside, to pick it up. Pay me what ya think is fair, or what you can afford. Tell ya what......buy my full set of 05' tail lights and I'll throw in the muffler Don't sweat it, just PM me. jbx
