Optima Drycell battery wont fit??

So I went to Schuck's today to replace my battery, which is so far dead that I have to jump start my car if I want it to turn on.

I ask about their drycell batteries, but they say it wont fit? I was told by others on this forum that they have it. Do I need to do a modification or what?

Please help me out before I go spend my $$ in the morning on a new battery! Thanks!!

You mean optima?? They will fit but not ALL Optimas will fit. You have to research a reverse post version. Ie... Red Top

FYI, I've been having a hard time finding the Yellow Top D51r. So I'll probably opt for a red top model 35. Not too many places stock the reverse post style
