Anybody else notice a dent in the door?

O.k., I looked over to my left and noticed a small dent on the inside of the door. It then occurred to me that I think my left elbow is doing it when i drive with just my left hand.

I can't say I ever noticed this on any of my other cars, though on the other cars, that part (closest to the window) is usually made of harder plastic.

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, I noticed it also. The problem is the car is too narrow.

I have the same indentation on my drivers side armrest. It started to appear at around 5K miles. It doesn't seem to have gotten worse though. I now have 23K miles. I guess now we know if some one else is driving our car alot.

If you drive hard enough this won't happen as both your hands will be on the wheel or shifter not the armrest. Remember, DRIVE the car don't ride in it. This is a similar concept to "drive it like you stole it".

Just messing but seriously this car wants you to keep both hands onthe wheel it is just too comfortable like that.

There should be some added padding where the elbow rests. I have been noticing lately that my elbow is resting on a damn hard surface.
