Infiniti informed me today that if i wanted to fix the squealing problem, by providing my own brake pads, hawks, it would void my brake warranty and brake replacement program. For anyone who wants to fix their squealing problem wait til 36,000 miles until that warranty expires, or save your stock sets. If you're riding on stock rotors, I highly reccomend switching out your brakes to stock nissan pads if you have rotor problems, and taking it back to infiniti. BRAKES ARE COVERED for 03,04, and some 05's. Free rotors and brakes until 36k so use it.

on a side note, they said anything you dont buy from them, and have them install..it will void your warranty...obvious right?

does that mean retrofitting your headlights with AAC demons and projectors too?!

 

As far as I know NO 05's are covered for extended brake warranty. As far as voiding the warranty, that's bull unless you are racing or modifying the computer. Lights, wheels, tires, etc will NOT void the warranty.

this is what the infiniti service advisor told me, i thought it was pretty bs too, but he specifically said stuff about wheels and brakes..maybe he just wants to rip me off
