After a year, a new experience with the car
Friday on my way home from work I decided to exercise the car a bit on an expressway entrance ramp. I was the first in line with an exclusive left arrow. I slowly turned, then when I was straight, I punched it. I snatched second, with a little bit of wheel spin. I nailed third, with a nice bark. I absolutely nailed 4th at the top of the ramp, producing a surprising bark.
I've had the car for over a year. I've never barked 4th. Even at the track. I know it's not an indication of power, but I had a nice smile on my face. I've never had a car that could do it.
And it's not the tires. The tires are damned-near slicks right now.
Pointless post, but I had to share.

it keeps the relationship new and exciting or else i would hav been tempted by the sexy next door IS

actually Trey, it probably is the tires. Even though your treads may look like slick, they are just older tires that have been heat cycyles numerous times and have lost their softer durometer rating. now, if you had shaved your new tires down to 3/32", that would be a different story!

Good point. I had assumed it was the tires, but my Dad was the one that pointed out the groove/slick issue. I usually defer to him, but one can't be correct all the time.
