Anyone here try adding the sport suspension after purchasing the car without it? Any idea how much that costs? Most people seam to upgrade to the Z suspension, any reason for that?

I bought the non sport. Even stock it was years ahead of my fully modified 92 maxima. Adding the Hotchkis sways made a big diff as did the Coupe 19s.

I'm going with the coupe rear/Z front spring combo. Along with coupe shocks all round.

There are tons of reasons I like my G more but I would buy it again just for the aftermarket following (FI), looks and RWD with LSD (big one!). Everything past that is a perk for me.

RAYNYC, I have never driven a 72 Buick (have you?), but I think you are either loaded with Bravo Sierra, or you have something seriously wrong with your 35X. Mine handles better than the TL I had before it, and better than any American sedan I have owned (lots!). True, it`s no 5 or 7 series BMW, but neither was the sticker. How do the AWD BMW`s handle? Like a 72 Buick with GOOD shocks??

I doubt he has driven a '72 Buick, those cars were like driving your couch, and very slow to respond to the wheel. Even my '05 RWD non-sport handles great, it's so nice to know when I have to avoid something in the road at 65-70 mph I can do it with no worry, if you tried that in an old Buick, you'd probably end up in a ditch!

I have 98 Buick with bad front shocks and I can tell you the loaner G35's I had handeled a lot better. I am sure your using that extreme analogy to make a point.

The Sport suspension is quite a bit stiffer than the non sport. A good set of aftermarket springs and dampers will make all the difference.

I have lowered my car with the eibachs and coupled with my wide tires makes for a great handeling ride
