04 sedan with vortech sc auto

What experinces have you had with your vorthech on an auto and do you have stand alone?

I maybe able to get a Vortech sc for a good deal and may go with the HKS-v-pro as stand alone.

is the 04 the model that has the issues of the the fans and would I have to modify anything to make this work?

Wht kind of power/torque and what other mods did you add?

Well since you're auto you're going to have to invest in a valve body, torque convertor and tranny cooler. When I had the vortech with no tranny upgrades it would never shift correctly and just redline. So I could never really use all the potential power. From what Mark tells me the V-Pro is one of the best and can make your car run quite smoothly.

I don't know about the fans on an 04 model but on an 03.5 it was quite hard to get the stock intercooler to fit, and if you want a bigger one it'll be even harder.

Overall my numbers were 389whp/421tq, yes tq, ask Mark from SGP about timing not me. All I had was Magnaflow exhaust, stock vortech set up, and a skunk2 spacer.
