Can someone who has done the install themselves give me some hints?

It's easiest if you have someone help you and if you remove the rear bumper. We set the bumper on a couple of saw horses for the work and everything went smoothly. I also didn't need to drill the huge "hole saw" holes that it said were needed. They may be necessary for tolerances if you don't remove the bumper?? The 2nd set of pilot holes were about right but I can't remember what size it was.

I did mine while still on the car. It took me a little over an hour. A skew (right angle) drill adapter helps a lot. If you have specific questions let me know.
