I think a big reason why people (among sedan drivers) are so easily frustrated is because of the multitude of empty promises we have seen in the past from a number of vendors. Everyone comes to the board to gauge interest, people sign up then they drag their feet trying to collect deposits or simply disappear without any explanation.

I'm not saying this is going to happen here. But I find it silly that people have to go out of their way to help a company develop a product from which they still have to pay for parts and deal with the downtime with no car.

whatever happens...I wish them good luck with the project.

The only reason I check this thread is because FI is continuing to move foward (no matter the speed). I have an exhaust already that I like but I just want to see more options made to us. I'll give you crap about the time frame but at least this more than just gaging interest. Pipes have been put on cars and attempts are being made.

Gentleman,

I’m stepping up to the plate. There are a couple kinks that need to be worked out in the next 24 hours, but I talked to Tony today and we are going to try and have my stock 05 AT on his lift on the 21st at noon.

I’m cruzing out from Colorado Springs on a 1,000 mile trek to make my car sound good. I’ve read through all the posts and this is a person that sounds very genuine about giving us sedan owners a sweet piece of after market equipment.

While I’m sure all the dyno rips will be posted here, I’ll tape my car sound before and after and post it when I return.

Wish me luck, my tires are getting very iffy (I’m in debates about what type of rim to buy, so I’m holding off buying tires).

Way to go, man.

That's awesome!

Looks like it's slipping through the cracks for me, but probably better for everybody. Tony called and said he has a local guy, so I'm on hold for the moment.

I must admit that the timing is suspect, but at least it's progress. Good luck to the guys at FI.

^^^ you should just let the thread fall until you are closer... the more posts, the longer it's on top and the more attention it brings to the delay... Most people won’t know or care if there is a hiatus. Then when it's ready, voila! Pop up a new thread and those that don’t already have exhaust (and some that do) will be all over it!

Just a suggestion.

So wait-

Now that someone has finally made the commitment to drive over, lend them the car, then buy the exhaust, they refuse your help?

We're done here. Anyone expecting this to end well should just send me their wallet now.

Surprised the thread hasn't been closed yet due to promises of vaporware. It will be interesting to see if this makes it to production after all of the "setbacks". Hopefully things are successful with FI and getting this off the ground. I agree with OCG35 to let this thread die and open a new one once the product is ready for shipment.

Has anyone tried taking off their muffler and driving with just the midpipe? So I was bored the other day and I decided why the hell not. well guys that **** sounds sweet and I am not being sarcastic, its sounds mean as hell and something close to the sound of the coupe but a little louder, I was amazed with the sound the second I got in and started driving. I cant believe a car can sound so good without a muffler, I am thinking if Tony doesnt call me back with the answer on the exhaust I think I might just get a straight pipe with a tip and just leave it like that.
