Just when I thought it was over.....

About a month and a half ago I found it neccessary to off my 04' 'G' X (mods included) to a dealer as a trade for a ahhhhhh more 'family oriented' vehicle. Well, they gave me such a phenomenal amount of money against the
'invoice' of said 'family' vehicle that I didn't feel so bad about leaving the 'mods' intact. Guess who called t'day wanting to trade all the good stuff for the OEM crap AND is paying for the swap. Turns out the dealer sold my car to somebody even older than me, and the guy wants it back ta stock . So the good news is that I got my Stillen Gen II 'cat back', APS Intake Plenum, and Wolf 'pop-charger/'Z' tube back and I'll be putting em' up in the marketplace in the next day or two. What a fluke...........jbx.

Fluke......I'd say lucky b*@#@#d more like!
Makes a pleasant change to actually get some money back from mods on a car though. Good news!
Will keep my eye on the marketplace for the exhaust etc. At this rate I'll have the aftermarket parts before actually getting the car.

Heh.....he had no choice or it woulda' cost him $1,500+. and two days of waiting for parts. Translation....no sale . Funniest part was that a 'brake and muffler shop' was doing the swap out and had ta call me ta find out how to do the ECM re-set ater doing the plenum. jbx
