+1. There's nothing in this thread to brag about. Someone could have been seriously hurt.

^+100 If he did what he said, then how did he do anything wrong? He just made his brake light go on to ask the guy to back off. I've done worse than that....give him a break. It's also very possible that his buddy that was behind him was too close to him as well; hence the collision....just my $0.02.

^ +1...

The OP really couldnt do much else. Its not like he actually slammed on his brakes. The van almost side swipes him, then tails him, even at higher speeds. And the van knew what was going on, meaning he knew he was messing with the OP and knew what would/could happen. Why else would he slam his brakes when the OP pressed his brakes?

You could say, just pull over and let them pass. Well, what if the 2 vans pulled over too? They could box you in and you will be f***ed.

You could also say, go faster. Isnt that dangerous too?

We dont know the traffic conditions, so we cant say either way, if his decision was bad (lots of other traffic around), or perfectly fine (wide open highway).

well i didnt do anything that he didnt do in the first place...but im not an idiot...i didnt do it while there was people around....it was like 2 in the morning and there musta been like a few cars about a few 100 metres ahead and behind me...i also never said it was "COOL"..i just dont see how idiot drivers like that can go on driving all day...and not be punished or something...what if that guy does it again to someone else..and the other person doesnt realize...and gets sideswiped?..maybe this will teach him a lesson..

Well i chose karma cuz he tried to hit me...but then he was the one ended up getting hit...i guess theres prolly a better word...but thats the first thing that came to mind

exactlyy...im not one to let someone push me around...all i did was tap my brakes..its not like i intentinoally went and tried to sideswipe him...i coulda backed off...and the two could've boxed me in...or done the same thing to someone else up ahead..maybe this time they learned their lesson..and not to mess with a G35 Driver...ahah jk..

Well . . . Now, I see your point. If you are making yourself responsible for "punishing" these so-called idiot drivers . . . Job well done. Congrats!

I am quite sure that you will have quite a few more opportunities to set things right.

Haha, that's quite an adventure....
I agree the title that Karma is on the van who started the whole incident.

It sounds like Vick is taking care of his business when the vans are bullying him.

It doesn't matter how hard/light he hit the brakes, he still caused an accident.

Last time I checked, if there's ever a fender bender, the person following who hits the person in front of them is the one to blame.....how can you blame an accident on someone who applied their brakes? God forbid they slow down..... am I wrong here?

You can argue legalities all day long, but intentionally causing an accident is wrong. The fact that you applied your brakes for no reason other than to make a tailgater react is wrong and cannot be rationalized otherwise.
