Would you buy another G35 sedan again?
Hi, I currently own a 04' BMW 530i and I've owned a Lexus ES300, Acura TL-S, and two BMW's (previous 330i). I've never been so interested in Infiniti's until I test drove the M35 and M45. If I test drove those before my 5 series, I would've bought that instead. Infiniti seems to offer a nice balance of luxury/sport. BMW's are very sporty and lacks luxury (navi sucks, uncomfortable, cheap looking interior, always behind in technology, etc...)
I took the new IS on a test drive and I was impressed, but it was way too small and I didn't like the interior design. I've narrowed my decision to the 07' G35 until I see/drive it.
Now the big question here...........for those that currently own a g35 sedan, would you buy another one? Are you that happy with your Infiniti? How's the build quality? I don't want to purchase one and then regret my purchase (just like my 5 series).

I'm a little confused, since you mentioned you drove the M, and you're asking us about our G's... they're very different cars.. unless you're talkin about the new G, which looks just like an M, both inside and out.
Back to your question.. I don't regret buying the G at all. I love the power, handling, and the looks... all combined into a nice price.

But one thing, nothing around that price category handles like a BMW. But for everyday driving, I never get to enjoy it as much as I would with a luxurious interior.

I've had my G for a couple months and love it...for me it came down to fit, I'm 6'5" and 260lbs, for me and passengers, along with the overall package, and value for dollar. I owned an I30 previously and put 163,000 dependable miles on it so I already had a bit of a predjudice.
If I was going to buy a BMW I would save a couple bucks and fly out to Germany and pick one up and have it shipped...the European Delivery program is pretty simple and details can be found online.

I would have to see if I could have an extended test drive on the 6MT. I would want to make sure that the ride isn't too much harsher with the sports suspension.
I can understand why they don't offer it without the sports suspension. Most who buy the 6MT are probably the people who complain about the autos that don't have it
Companies can't afford to make all varieties. If 90% of G35s are sold with autos, and if 90+% of the people who would want to buy the 6MT would want sports suspension, there doesn't leave much room for the 1 customer who would want the normal suspension. Then he would probably not like the color option.

I'd definitely have another Infiniti. The build quality is great and the price/performance is awesome. Even though it's my mom's car I've driven it multiple times and love how everything is setup. My mom loves everything about the car too. I do like the new '07 interior but like the '06 and previous exterior much more. Another positive is the service dealer. They have been nothing short of outstanding.

I started with an 03 Premium/areo red w/ willow, now a 05 X B on B. Love them both, so much so I am just waiting for the 07 so I can sell the 05 (only 7000 miles) & get the 07. If I did not like them I would consider some of the cars mentioned above. Would probably switch to the 335Xi if it was not so expensive versus the 07 G35X. I am all about the value & so far I can not find anything better. I do also like the TL but FWD

I think Infiniti products, and Nissan products for that matter, offer a great combination of price, performance, style and quality in one package. It may not be the strongest in any one category, not to say any particular area is weak, but as a whole package, it's perfect for me. I think they can up the quality (both quality of materials, craftmanship and reliability) a bit more still so it's closer to Lexus and they can also work a bit more on the ownership experience - go the extra mile to make you feel good for the premium you paid for a luxury brand.
